Volunteer Spotlight – Natalie McLeod

Although Natalie is one of the Climb’s newer volunteers, she has quickly become one of our superstars! Natalie is starting her 2nd year with us and helps out at the Around the Bay Road Race water station, High School Climb as well as the Community Climb. When asked why she chooses to volunteer, Natalie said “I do it because I love giving high fives! Just kidding, I do it because I have a blast and I believe in what the Climb is accomplishing”.

Natalie brings her great energy, versatility and a huge smile to our team and says her favourite part of the day “… is seeing people of all abilities and ages crush the stairs! It’s such a simple thing to do with a huge impact”. Whether she is greeting participants in the registration tent, cheering climbers on in the course or cooling everyone down with a water gun, you can be sure she is out there helping you reach your goal. And what’s Natalie’s advice to new climbers? “Whether you do 1 or 100 laps of the stairs, the most important thing you can contribute is your positive energy! Challenge yourself to try something new!”.

Thank you Natalie for being a part of our team!
